The 14th of December 2006, I went to meeting with Local governments, school teachers, workers, head of the village, school committees and child's dream team at Maenumkhun school. In the meeting Child's Dream agreed to support Child boarding house project, which is my project and villagers from 4-5 villages will help to build with workers that we will make a contract soon. One boarding house, one kitchen and 2 toilets will be build on the middle of January 2007, the budget is around 10,100 USD together with furnitures.
This project will help for 36 students who lives far from school.
I also brought some warm cloths, stationeries and dolls for children on the new year and children's day vocations. There are 989 students study in Maenumkhun school and most of them are hilltribes such as Akha, Chinese (from southern of China), Akher, Lahu and Lisu.

Field study - ies

Hello friends, the 12th and 13th of this month I took a half of day to ride the motorbike to visit Hui phu primary school in Maejam district, Chiangmai, It's around 100 Kilometers from down town and the road was very poor. In the morning students have to move out from class room and study on the football field as you see in the photo and most student here are Karen tribe, now it's winter time in Thailand and many children here still need warm cloths and blankets. I stayed one night in school, It was very cold but I enjoyed football match with students and volunteers from Ramkhamhang University, Bangkok, very fun. :)
the new school building for student by Ramkhamhang University students, Child's Dream also support some budget to this project as well, this building gonna finish soon that students will have new class rooms lah:)

Trip to Laos

The beginning of December I got a chance to visit Laos with Child's Dream staffs, I took this photo between Thai-Laos border (Pakse(Laos) and Mukdhahan (Thailand)), people here really nice but children still need help from us about education and health care for example.
I went to visit Swannaket School in Pakse district, Laos, it is primary school. We need to take a boat to get there becaue no road and airport, see? I taken a boat crossing the Maekong river, Child's Dream Foundation support to build the new school building and nearly finish.

Trip to Cambodia

I have very short time to visit the Angkor Watt but so sad I haven't got enough money to enter the gate, they asked me 25 USD or around 1000 baht but I have less than 20 USD lah, so, I just rode motorbike around 2 or 3 temples and dark already :( If you have time you got to visit there because really nice (Even I just have been looked around) I will go back once in the future.
I also went to visit Child's Dream's project in Seim Reap on the 29th of November, more than that I have been joined the school openning ceremony in Seim Reap. Many children from Snao school and the others local school came to join as well.
